Student Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

The Student Code of Conduct outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and standards of behavior required to maintain a safe, respectful, and academically focused college environment.


2. General Conduct Expectations

  • Students must conduct themselves with respect, integrity, and responsibility at all times.

  • Students should contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and harassment-free campus.

  • Actions that disrupt teaching, learning, or campus operations are prohibited.


3. Academic Integrity

Students are expected to:

  • Complete all academic work honestly and independently.

  • Avoid plagiarism, cheating, fabrication, or any form of academic dishonesty.

  • Follow faculty instructions for assignments, exams, and assessments.

Violations may result in disciplinary action, including academic penalties.


4. Respect for Others

Students must:

  • Treat peers, faculty, staff, and visitors with courtesy and respect.

5. Campus Safety and Security

Students are expected to:

6. Use of College Facilities and Property

Students must:

  • Not misuse or tamper with campus equipment, technology, or infrastructure.


7. Digital and Online Conduct

Students should:

  • Use college computers, networks, and Wi-Fi responsibly.

  • Avoid cyberbullying, hacking, unauthorized access, or sharing inappropriate content.

  • Protect personal information and respect others’ privacy.


8. Attendance and Participation

Students are expected to:

  • Attend classes regularly and be punctual.

  • Participate actively in coursework and academic activities.

  • Follow college guidelines for attendance requirements.


9. Substance Use

The possession, use, or distribution of:

  • Alcohol

  • Illegal drugs

  • Tobacco products (where prohibited)

is strictly forbidden on campus or during college-sponsored events.


10. Dress Code

Students should dress in a manner that is:

  • Neat, modest, and appropriate for an academic setting.

  • In line with specific departmental or laboratory safety requirements.


11. Disciplinary Actions

Violations of the Code of Conduct may lead to:
